We would like to thank Chief Henry Thomas JR and the members of the Newbury Fire Department for entrusting Greenwood Motors to supply their department with this unique walk in rescue/rehab unit.
This truck is built on a Ford F-550 4 x 4 chassis with Ford Powerstroke diesel engine and tow package.
The walk in/around box combines the functions of a light rescue, command unit, and rehab truck. It was built to fit into the smaller “camp roads” in Newbury’s response district
It has a battery charger with inverter for AC power in the command area, full HVAC inside, and two seats for rehab or donning rescue gear.
This uniquely detailed truck is the result of a cooperative effort between the Newbury Fire Department and Greenwood Salesperson Chris Champagne.
