greenwoodev, greenwood emergency vehicles
Greenwood Emergency Vehicles is proud of our long-standing relationship with New England fire departments and police agencies. Started in 1979 with a vision of providing service and sales unsurpassed in the industry we have enjoyed long lasting relationships with many departments, and to no surprise, many fire service professionals.
Over the years Greenwood has employed many active and retired fire service professionals on a part time, and in some cases, full time basis.
As Greenwood has grown, so has our staff. From our humble beginning Greenwood has been fortunate to draw on the experiences of so many talented and devoted folks from “within the job”. From sales, to fabrication, to housekeeping and delivery drivers and training experts we have assembled some of the best the industry has to offer and, we feel, combined with all of our staff offer the best products, service, support and training available in the emergency vehicle industry.
We thank you for your loyalty and business as we move forward an into the future.

Keep your crew safe with the new Active Air Purification System
Proven impact on odor reduction
Photohydroionization is an advanced oxidation technology that minimizes pollutants in the air through a broadspectrum, high intensity UV light. Low doses of airborne hydro-peroxide (H202) are generated and revert back to oxygen and hydrogen once they come in contact with and eliminate bacteria, creating safer and cleaner cab environment.
Advanced Technology
The system utilizes active technology to distribute H202 through HVAC airflow which sanitizes the occupied space and requires no operator or application.
Safe
Safe levels of naturally occurring hdyroperoxides increase the air quality creating a cleaner environment for your equipment and your crew. It is effective against SARS, MERS, and COVID viruses and does not damage interior surfaces.
Retrofitable
The Active Air Purification System is a compact, standalone system that can be easily retrofitted on existing trucks.
Advantages
Sanitizes air and surfaces
Safe for all passengers
Lowers overhead cost of traditional
disinfectants
Millions in service globally
The compact design of the Active Air Purification System enables it to be mounted in different locations within the cab while still achieving the same results. This offers the flexibility required to retrofit the system into current vehicles. Purchase of these units can be funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
